Former CBC television reporter and program host, documentary filmmaker and writer, who switched to Canada's largest newspaper The Toronto Star in 1989 as TV columnist/critic. She moved on to cover politics in Quebec, and returned to Toronto as media critic. Since 2007, she has been opinionating both in the newspaper and on her blogs. Her official beat is social issues and cultural trends but she pretty much does whatever she feels like either because she's lucky or a super-bitch or both. Mostly though, she writes about women's issues and sex, and likes to piss off misogynists and fetus fetishists. Oh yeah, she's a extreme liberal leftie moonbat too. An aging baby boomer who has seen everybody from Jimi Hendrix to the Beatles live, she now digs music of all genres but she's a Rock'n'Roll Girl at heart. Antonia loves her dog, her Greektown-meets-Yuppiedale neighbourhood in Toronto (although she's very much a transplanted Montrealer), shoe-shopping, poker and her friends and family.
