The problem: There are 1000's of recruitment agencies across the UK. Within those agencies are some real superstars that can sell service and manage the process of a permanent placement. At the opposite end of the scale you have the blood sucking parasites hiding and taking a wage under false pretences rather than earning themselves and their employer an income. Recruitment agencies also have polarities. The low entry level and low start up costs means that 2000 agencies start up every year. Equally, 2000 agencies disappear each year. The culture, longevity and ethics of each recruitment company vary. With such choice, and very little time, how can either party make an informed decision? Agencies are faced with; "I've heard it all before" and "the last consultant only lasted six months" or "the physocometric test makes an interesting read". Confusion leads to a poor decision or no decision at all. Equally, the successful recruiter has a head full of questions; "why XYZ Agency?", "what career prospects are there?" and "what USP's does this agency have to help beat off the 1000's of competitors?" As a recruiter, how did you do last month in servicing your clients? As an agency, how did you do placing candidates last month? Hopefully, you will be pleased with the answer. But what if the question were: How did you do with your own internal recruitment last month? Often the answer is not so good. Recruiters do an excellent job in obtaining employees for their clients. Yet when it comes to building the internal team, the successes tend to be few and far between. The Solution: A neutral medium is required. A broker if you like – with the ability to match the agencies needs with candidates wants. A link that makes sense and is professional, ethical and easy to deal with. That solution is Artoo Rec 2 Rec.
