Burns & McDonnell and Science City have partnered together over the last few years to make sure a visit to Science City is an exciting and fulfilling experience. Now, they’re giving area kids a chance to do the same. It’s the Burns & McDonnell Battle of the Brains, a once-in-a-lifetime chance for your Kansas City school to design the next great exhibit for Science City! Your reward? Seeing your ideas come to life in one of the country’s best science centers. Oh, and the chance for your school to earn a piece of a $130,000-plus grant for STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education. Kansas City’s Battle of the Brains for Science City has two divisions: elementary (kindergarten through 6th grade) and secondary (7th through 12th grade).
