Born 04:30AM Atlantic on Liamuigua-Oualie (The Independent Federation of St.Kitts-Nevis) on January 15th, 1967, I am A Dade County, FL Bred Artiste residing in BellTown, Seattle, WA, AMERICA.

Blessed by The Almighty through My Ancestors' Blood, Sweat and Tears, I was awarded a $10,000 grant to facilitate A Literary Arts Workshop at Broward Correctional Institution. I have a BA, Carlow College and Graduate Certificate in Writing, University of Miami. several publication and audio & visual recitation displays of my Poetry (written& spoken); Featured Performer/Author at Lincoln Road Art Festival, Here & Now, Write in Our Midst, Imami Um Nomo Workshop, The Miami International Bookfair and Lollapalooza.

Though I personally do not enjoy competition, I was none-the-less Spoken Word Champion of South Florida for three years in a row, because it presented me with a challenge to extend my horizons and grow as a poet. This experience also birthed FreeGround mAGAzine, a periodical I published from 1994-1996.

I was born with the general form of an autoimmune nueromuscular disorder named Myasthenia Gravis. I am now 42 and since the age of 21, when it was properly diagnosed for the first time, medical professionals have told me it is a most disabling illness. However, at 3 one day while climbing the stairs, I shouted to My Granny in the backyard washing clothes, 'i am telling my feet to move and they wont listen.' To which Miss Esther Frederica Pemberton replied, 'just rest there 'til they hear you.'

This lone incident of Pure Sweet Soul Love has sustains and emboldens me whenever, my one hater presents itself in attempts to curtail my groove.

It is an Honor to fully disclose that I am CRAZY and have been thankful with every passing day, for I realize that Crazy keeps this Artiste from going insane.
