As Chief Simplifier of Simple Marketing Now LLC -- formerly Director, In-Store Innovation for Solutia's Wear-Dated carpet fiber -- I'm fascinated with the customer retail experience and businesses - both digital and brick/mortar - who are passionate about meeting the needs of their consumers and who successfully bridge traditional marketing with social marketing. I am the creator of the Social Flooring Index to monitor who is doing what with social media and social networking in flooring. My educational background includes a BA in Art History from Smith College, an MBA in Marketing from Columbia Business School, and constantly studying the world around me!
