I work with people who are predominantly stressed. Having coached hundreds of people over the last 7 years, I have found a common theme - what causes people to feel stressed is not feeling in control of their life in some way. By taking time out to consider what can be changed or improved upon people feel a whole lot better about life and themselves, and often very quickly.
