Bio

My name is Jon Johnston. By day, I am a computer network and communication consultant. By night, I am an author and editor. It's kind of like having a double major. I am the main site manager and author at "Corn Nation". Corn Nation is focused on University of Nebraska sports. I try to make sure that we cover many sports, but our primary focus is (of course) Husker football. Corn Nation is part of the SB Nation family of sports sites. SB Nation provides around 200 sports-related web sites in all categories. The sites are uniquely community-oriented, providing a place where fans can interact with authors and each other. I am also editor of the Nebraska football yearbook "Cornhusker Kickoff" which is published every July by Maple Street Press. Personally, I am a father of thre and husband. I am a University of Nebraska alum, and a Nebraska native that has been stranded in Minnesota for over 20 years. I like my cameras and my beer, though not always in that order.
