Bio

Demon Theater is a Los Angeles-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit theater company dedicated to celebrating the works of legendary Swedish writer/director Ingmar Bergman (often referred to as a “Demon Director” after an incident early in his career.) We provide our audiences with a multi-faceted and unique theatrical experience, producing new English language translations (all completed by Demon Theater) of Mr. Bergman’s works with homemade Swedish food served after each performance. The sights and sounds of each production will be accompanied by the tastes and smells of his homeland. All the senses will be touched to create the most memorable experience for the audience, and a warm atmosphere for the audience and performers to share delicious food and conversation.
