Bio

David comes from more than 25+ years of active addiction. Four drug rehabs in a 10 year period did not change the direction of his life. Homelessness did not change the direction of David's life either. But then - prison. While spending 5 years in prison for a crime he did not commit, and was later exonerated from, David found his "mission" based on Eph. 4:12, "To equip others for their work of service". His time behind bars was not wasted - he spent every moment studying, planning, goal setting, searching. In the process he found his God given talents, gifts and his "mission". He found that recovery, is physical, mental, intellectual, social and spiritual. That holistic approach is evident in his business model today. Free from his addiction since Sept. 2001, and equipped with his CRSS, and PSEM certifications, David's business focus is on Marketing/Promotion, Business & Family. Equipped 4 Service Connection, LLC devotes itself to "equipping you" in the areas of Marketing/Promotion, Graphic Design & Print Brokering, Web Design & SEO/SEM consultations; while the Business & Family area focuses on linking people together and "equipping them" with Mentors, Addiction Education and Recovery Coaching. David's continues this pursuit in his personal life also. David spends approximately 10 hours a week volunteering in the local jails, homeless shelters, rehabs and other places where he is able to share his life's experience with those in need and those struggling in the same area as David once struggled. Then he devotes 15+ hours a week doing pro bono work for non-profit organizations that cannot afford it. Whether it's Marketing/Promotion, Business or Family, we all want the same things – "to love, to be loved, and to have meaning and purpose". His Goal: To see you and others apply this approach, attitude and direction into your goals, by joining him in his quest to "equip others for their work of service".
