FX Sculpture comprises of a group of sculptors/designers and specialised pattern and mould makers that can offer you modern 'Out of this World' Sci-Fi Sculpture at 'Down to Earth' prices. With a combined experience of 40 years in the Film and Entertainment Crafts business our aim is to bring a little of what we all see on television into the home by producing modern sculpture that is inspired by science fiction and fantasy. The Greys that Glow! Designed and hand crafted by Richard these new and unique Glowing Alien sculptures are created by using traditional production moulding and casting techniques in combination with the latest technology and environmentally friendly materials. They are cast in Jesmonite and Strontium-Aluminate, which is a rare, earth material that absorbs daylight and produces a lasting glow in green, aqua blue or sky blue. The head, collar, body and eyes are all moulded and cast in parts, so that a variety of coloured pigments can be added to create a custom finish. They are then assembled, polished and waxed, giving them a unique soft, tactile quality.
