Felena Hanson and Chris Williams are accomplished professors at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, where they have worked with thousands of 20-something women. In addition to personal experience (both married in their early twenties and divorced in their early thirties) they have conducted extensive interviews with hundreds of men and women on the topic of marriage. Felena and Chris are authorities on the benefits of waiting to wed. Felena Hanson Felena graduated in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of San Diego. She then moved to Los Angeles where she worked in sales and marketing for 6 years. Felena earned her MBA from California State University Dominguez Hills before moving back to San Diego in 2001. In San Diego, Felena worked as the Director of Marketing for an Internet technology company for several years before starting her own successful marketing consulting firm, Perspective Marketing, in 2003. Felena teaches Marketing and Entrepreneurship at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and at California State University Dominguez Hills, for the MBA online program. Felena is an international speaker, addressing audiences of up to 300 people. Felena wed her college sweetheart at age 24. She divorced at age 31 due to a significant shift in personal goals and priorities.
