Bio

Amber Anderson is a leading youth financial literacy advocate and expert. Amber's mission is to help our youth build positive habits around credit and money before they leave home. She believes that teaching financial literacy is critical not only to the financial future of each student, but also to the future economy of our nation. Amber became aware of the huge lack of Financial Literacy amongst the average American during her six years as a Banker. To combat financial illiteracy, she teamed up with The Secure Student Program, which developed the first multi-media , interactive, online experience designed to give young adults real world knowledge about credit and money. She realized that if our schools were not teaching our children and most parents did not have the financial "know how" to teach their children, the pattern would just continue. Amber decided to take action and began educating our teens about the importance of starting early and taking control of their financial future. For the past 3 years, she has been a featured financial literacy speaker for many high schools, The Boys and Girls Club of America, and various Junior League chapters.
