Japan Intercultural Consulting Managing Principal Rochelle Kopp is the chief tweeter for the JapanIntercult Twitter account. Tweeting about a variety of topics relating to Japanese business culture, cross-cultural communication, Japanese business etiquette, Japanese organizations, Japanese society, the Japanese language and how to learn it, and Japanese food. We help clients improve working relationships in multicultural environments. With facilitators in nine U.S. cities, Mexico City, London and Tokyo, we provide training, teambuilding, and coaching services. We are experts on cross-cultural communication and Japanese business practices. Our clients trust us to provide programs that are relevant and impactful. We primarily work with Japanese companies and American firms who have Japanese customers. Some of our well-known clients include Fujitsu, Hitachi, Honda, Sony, and Toyota. As a consultant specializing in cross-cultural communications, she has extensive experience working with Japanese organizations and their non-Japanese suppliers and partners. A veteran facilitator experienced in delivering training and consulting to both Japanese and non-Japanese, Rochelle has a particular specialty in facilitating cross-cultural teambuildings and other programs for executives. Prior to establishing Japan Intercultural Consulting, Rochelle worked at two U.S.-based international consulting firms and at the Tokyo headquarters of a major Japanese financial institution. She holds a B.A. summa cum laude in History from Yale University and an M.B.A. with honors from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
