John LeRoy, M.D. is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. LeRoy is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is specialty trained in cosmetic surgery. Dr. LeRoy received his undergraduate education at Clemson University and went on to attend the Medical College of Georgia, where he completed his training in general surgery and plastic surgery. A formative step in his training was a prestigious one-year fellowship at the renowned Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York. There, Dr. LeRoy was trained by the world's leading plastic surgeons in the latest cosmetic surgery techniques. Among his many professional affiliations, plastic surgeon Dr. John LeRoy is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and the Georgia Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. LeRoy participates in many philanthropic endeavors and even completed a two-week tour of duty as a volunteer surgeon in war-torn Croatia. There, he and several other physicians provided treatment to wounded civilians during the Bosnian conflict. Dr. LeRoy regularly contributes to several professional journals, including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and American Surgeon. He is frequently invited to speak to professional and civic groups about plastic surgery and related subjects.
