Kavanah designer and professional artist, Andrea Rosenfeld uses her creative passion and stunning gemstones to emotionally uplift others and at the same time create wearable art. No artist can predict where her passion for creation will take her. Artist Andrea Rosenfeld's exciting journey has been evolutionary: from a University of Michigan Art Student to Perry Ellis Portfolio Menswear Assistant Merchandiser, to Isaac Mizrahi Ltd. Director of Merchandising and Operations, and finally to creating and owning her own jewelry line. Rosenfeld's ultimate destination: Hot Rox Jewelry Skilled in metal working, loom weaving, silk screening, lithography, photography, garment design, drawing, painting, ceramics, woodworking -- and now jewelry design -- Rosenfeld makes use of a combination of materials and techniques, and places emphasis on texture as a main force in her creations. The most recent path of Rosenfeld's artistic journey has resulted in Hot Rox Jewelry's new Kavannah Healing Line. Born out of her desire to create something for a higher purpose, she creates pieces infused with her own personal message of hope and strength, and the belief that the wearer can feel the power of these specific healing stones and their energy of creation and regeneration. Her sculptural Hot Rox Jewelry and Kavanah lines sell at Bloomingdale's Trunk Shows, but her creative passion has taken her beyond merely fashioning jewelry art to sell. This new Kavannah Healing line has captured the interest of the Susan G. Komen For The Cure Foundation, and Rosenfeld has been afforded the honor of designing quartz crystal healing pendants exclusively for cancer victims and their families. Rosenfeld also donates her jewelry art to various charities to help raise money for their causes.
