Bio

Michelle currently works as a placement industry consultant offering her knowledge of the recruitment industry working as job search/career planning consultant at IMPACT Group. Michelle also works as an RPO and contingency recruiter in addition to a practice in candidate sourcing/name generation. Michelle is based out of the Dallas market. In addition to her regular responsibilities as a Consultant, Michelle develops and facilitates job search training in both an eDelivery and traditional classroom model. Michelle possesses over 18 years of diverse experience in a variety of industries and functional areas such as management, sales, recruiting, and retail. Prior to beginning consulting, Michelle made her career in the recruiting industry working most recently for the 2nd largest Staffing Company in the world. For this multi-national organization, Michelle served in a variety of functional areas from: Agency Recruiter, Corporate Recruiter, Area/Senior Area HR Manager, and Area Vice President. During her tenure with this organization, Michelle was also tasked with various Organizational Development programs including the creation of a company wide Career Progression Program. Michelle also served on the three person team that created the college recruiting program in support of a greater emphasis on Gen Y recruiting/retention. As a result of these experiences, Michelle considers her greatest strengths to be talent identification, retention, and performance coaching. Beyond her professional life, Michelle is passionate about investing in her community co-chairing a regular job search ministry intended to help individuals make the leap from looking to landed.
