Bio

Matt has over 15 years in the HR industry & has been with HRchitect since 2004. He is responsible for sales, marketing & strategic alliances at HRchitect. He also extensively studies the Talent Management market place & talks to leading vendors on a regular basis to stay on top of trends in this industry. Matt has moderated numerous Talent Management shootouts & panel discussions for software vendors & HR organizations such as IHRIM. He has also been a featured speaker on Talent Management solutions at various industry & vendor conferences. Matt is the Conference Chair for theHRshow, the largest regional HR technology show to be held in Frisco, TX in Feb 2010. Matt is also the host of the weekly HRchitect HR Technology Happy Hour WebMingleâ„¢ as well as the HRchitect Beauty Pageant webinar series. Matt is a long-time business consultant & entrepreneur & has helped build several highly successful businesses for over 20 years. Prior to joining HRchitect, Matt was an Executive VP with Sage Software where he was responsible for corporate development, marketing, sales, product development & more. Matt is also a former two-term City Council member in Frisco, TX, the 2nd fastest growing city in the U.S., a 2005 recipient of the "21 Leaders of the 21st Century" by Inside Collin County Business, a former chairman of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce business networking events, as well as being involved in many other community organizations. In April 2009, Matt was appointed to the IHRIM.link Editorial Committee. Matt studied finance & business management at Salem State College in Salem, Massachusetts. Matt & his wife Erika have six children and enjoy a very busy life. Matt also enjoys being involved in the community and blogging about life in and around Frisco. Since 2001, Matt has produced a wildly popular e-newsletter that goes out every week to over 41,000 people & businesses & keeps the Frisco community in touch with local events and businesses.
