Bio

I am a writer, archaeologist, and shamanic practitioner who manages to combine all three and convince people it’s work. I have I have an MA and PhD in archaeology from the University of Reading and learnt my shamanism from indigenous teachers in places such as Siberia and Lapland. I am also a tutor/mentor for the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids. My latest books are Follow the Shaman’s Call: An Ancient Path for Modern Lives , which is a practical guide to ancient European shamanism, and Prehistoric Belief: Shamans, Trance and the Afterlife , which is an in-depth look at prehistoric shamanism and will be published in the summer of 2010.
