Established in 1972, the Regions Hospital Alcohol and Drug Dependency Program has the experience and tools to help our clients succeed. Our staff of licensed drug and alcohol counselors is supported by a team of health care professionals. Our unique expertise matching clients with appropriate community resources has been integral to our success. Through long-established community relationships with social service and county agencies and financial and housing organizations, we help clients connect with appropriate community resources to support their long-term recovery. The ADAP approach to treatment is client centered, recovery oriented model. We believe that addiction is a chronic Brain disease and as with other chronic diseases needs to be managed long-term. ADAP acknowledges recovery as a process, not an event. We recognize that there is no one path to recovery. These guiding principles will be used to address the needs of individuals over time, across the full range of services from engagement to intervention, treatment, rehabilitative and supportive services. We employ various approaches to recovery: Twelve Step philosophy Motivational interviewing Mindfulness Cognitive behavioral therapy Psycho-educational Group process/Experiential process Peer support groups Science of recovery Spiritual education Connect with community resources for mental health support, employment, education, case management, etc. Family education We offer Residential Treatment, Evening and Day Outpatient Treatment, Co-Occuring Outpatient Treatment, and Recovery Maintenance. We also have a Concerned Persons/Family Program. Thinking about a treatment program can be overwhelming. Our treatment staff understands the issues surrounding addiction and helps our clients make a new start - one filled with optimism and healing. We invite you to learn more about our services by calling us at (651) 254-4804.
