Bio

Monika Magick spends her days writing and caring for her bodacious budgie, Bogey, and her lovable lab, Grace. Drawing ideas from practical experience and a vast imagination, Monika seeks to teach as well as entertain. Her aim is to provide information that people can actually use. While Monika writes web content for money, she writes fiction for love. She has two novels completed and is planning a third this November. Her fiction tends to be dark and zombies usually work their way into the story. In addition to writing, Monika Magick has years of experience working with computers, dating back to the time of IBM punch cards. Middle-age didn't dampen her youthful enthusiasm -- Monika keeps up with current gadgets and trends (hence this profile!). Monika's two daughters also keep her young and her two grandchildren are her pride and joy. Monika reads voraciously, usually non-fiction and has a special interest in history of all eras. Her choices in fiction run to thrillers and science fiction. Monika Magick has her own blog, chronicling her every day experiences practicing Wicca and witchcraft. She has practiced the Craft for several years. Her blog's aims to dispel myths about this religion and highlight the nature-based worship that Wiccans practice.
