Bio

I’m a pretty easy going down to earth girl, who has a passion for life. My motto is ‘In life there are no problems, only opportunities’. I love to help people. I have this great desire to see people at their best, giving them every opportunity to grow and reach their true potential. I have had the fortune and privilege of having a pretty interesting and diverse life, seeing the multi facets of human nature (the good, the bad and the ugly) and having the opportunity to be involved in all walks of life. With the experiences that I have had, people are always amazed that I have such a positive attitude and such a kind nature. They see me as a vivacious girl who loves life, with a can do attitude and is always willing to help them out. When people ask how I can have such an optimistic outlook on life, all I say to them is that I choose to see the good in everyone and everything. Through my life experiences I have undertaken an interesting and fulfilling journey, where I have learnt so much that has enriched my life. I was a very reserved child, say boo to me and I would run away and hide. It was painful. I was born deaf and managed to hide it until I was about three, by teaching myself to lip read. I can hear now, had surgery to fix it and my parents taught me how to talk and read. Needless to say school was a big challenge for me. I did my best, with a lot of determination and help I got through school. At the age of 17 I was in a serious car accident and had to leave school. It took a long time to get back on my feet. It was a hard time and most people didn’t believe I would get through it. It was one of the best things that had ever happened in my life because it changed me in a positive way forever. It gave me the confidence to aim for more. I became stronger and more capable than anyone could have imagined, much to their surprise and to mine. I was given so much support.
