I'm a Texas A&M graduate with over 25years experience in marketing. Today,you'll find me managing some linkedin groups, helping others with social media. I'm also an internet car salesperson! EDUCATION In high school I was the yearbook editor and one of the school photographers. I never lost that interest in visual arts and communication. I even toyed with the idea of becoming a writer or a journalist. I found a way to be involved in all types of businesses by focusing on one field--Marketing. PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND My professional career began as a media director. From there, I jumped the fence to ad sales, allowing me more of a creative outlet with more potential income I sold ads using radio, television, yellow pages, cable and eventually the internet. This past year, I started taking webinars and helping friends and clients use social media. I like that it encourages us to help one another first. The good guys get to win. It brings a potential that traditional media has missed. I got into internet car sales at the request of a former client. Customers get help in researching their dream car, truck,etc From there, they meet me at the dealership to test drive and pick the best vehicle for them. I've even sold a few vehicles where everything is done online or on the phone and ends with me delivering it to them. VOLUNTEER & HOBBIES Throughout this time – I learned how to videotape and edit programs as a hobby and as a volunteer. I even got involved in local public access where I started kids video classes and produced a variety of programs. My programs included sports events, special event coverage and more. But I didn't give up on photography. I like to take my Nikon with me to try to capture the beauty of New Mexico. I especially love all the things you can do with digital photography, including producing music videos and uploading them to youtube (yes I've posted a few).
