Bio

As a former CIO, marketer, entrepreneur and business manager Nigel brings over 23 years of practical thought leadership to his role as Principal Analyst at Forrester Research covering Social Media and IT Strategy. Always an innovator, Nigel was the first CIO to leverage offshore package development of enterprise systems with Infosys in 1990, and possibly the first to establish marketing as a role within IT aimed at integrating IT into the business. His track record includes prominent roles as CIO for Reebok UK, Global IT Marketing and Services Director for Reebok International, Senior Consultant for IT Strategy with The National Computing Center, and Sales and Marketing for Transatlantic Software. He has also developed three startup businesses.
