Mark Palmer

Bio

Mark Palmer is a successful business executive who has rebuilt his life after a TBI suffered 40-something years ago, when he was broadsided by a Detroit city bus. Fifteen surgeries and countless rounds of therapies later, Mark can swim, roller-blade, and play on the floor with his grandkids. Although he never regained his "pre-accident normal," the expectation that he should and the denial that he hadn't kept him from being the best he could be for 30-something years. Realistic Hope is his attempt to spare other trauma survivors that protracted period of misplaced expectations so that they can accept their "new normal" and begin the journey of recovery.
