By the time people go to visit a psychotherapist for stress, the symptoms are already showing in their bodies with aches, pains and illness. They can be showing in their lives too with relationship issues, inner conflict and pent-up emotions. The priority becomes to tackle the immediate issue as quickly as possible. I specialise in addressing the effects of stress on your mind and body. This is done through neurolinguistic (NLP) psychotherapy, CBT and energy therapies such as EFT. These techniques work on resolving the stress and they also work on making the actual symptom better. Clients often see a benefit from the very first session. The therapy addresses the past and the coaching addresses the future. You feel refreshed and cleansed in your mind and in your spirit... and as this happens, you naturally become more aware and open to the opportunities and possibilities around you. Therapy The therapy is aimed at resolving the core conflicts inside you. These can be anything from bad memories to guilt, shame or self-blame. Core conflicts need to be addressed and dissolved because these work at a subconscious level and influence the decisions and choices you make. Coaching Through coaching you learn how to plan and manage your goals. You also learn how to recognise stress before it impacts your body and you learn how to move into the future with direction, power and confidence. Most importantly, you learn how to do this in a way that fits completely with your beliefs and values.
