Single Parent Scholarship Fund of NWA is a 501 c 3 ,on profit organization founded in Northwest Arkansas in 1984. We award over $300,000 in scholarships each year to single parents (moms and dads) who are seeking higher education. We are a community supported effort working to create BETTER, BRIGHTER futures for single parent families by offering ENCOURAGEMENT and ACCESS to higher education. We work to end poverty and dependence on social welfare programs be creating generations of prosperity. Our students attend the University of Arkansas (U of A), Northwest Arkansas Community College (NWACC), John Brown University (JBU), among many others. We are a United Way partner agency.
