While I was sitting looking out the window I had the experience of seeing through my seven year old eyes and could recognize that the one looking out of those seven year old eyes was exactly the same one who was looking out of these thirty-nine year old eyes, and I knew that I would be the same one looking when I was eighty and beyond. I felt exactly the same now as I did then. Although everything in my life had changed, including every single cell of my body, all of my beliefs, my interests, friends, locations, experiences, etc., the fact was that I had not changed even one iota. I had not gone anywhere at all. I was still exactly the same; who I was was completely untouched by time and experience and was perfectly pristine. This experience is the same for everyone and is the golden key to the always open door to freedom.
