Bio

DRIVE - I am absolutely passionate about helping people to get the best out of themselves in life.

WORK - A registered psychologist and full member of the Australian Psychological Society, I began my psychology career working primarily in sport, combining a psychology MA and PhD with 15 years as an elite athlete, and 4 years as a sports coach. I am also an accredited Beyond Blue Trainer (the Australia Depression Initiative) and operate a private practice out of Albert Park. Victoria, Australia.

CLIENTS - My current major clients include the St Kilda Football Club, The Australian Ballet Company, and the Victorian Institute of Sport.

Over the last 9 years, I have also had numerous contracts in the corporate sector, including work for ANZ, National Foods, TAB Corp, NAB, and Levis Strauss & Co.

I have been a lecturer at Victoria University in Research and Statistics, at Deakin University in Sport Psychology, and a guest lecturer for the Monash Music Department. I am currently working with pop music band, Momenta, doing performance psychology work to coach them to international success. My private clients include opera singers, golfers, football players, corporate executives and the general population.

BALANCE - Although I work with elite performers, I recognise that often it is the personal barriers that get in the way of even the most ambitious goals and determined efforts, and I brings a total commitment to mental health to my practice.

FULL SPECTRUM PRACTICE - I have discovered extraordinary fulfillment in my unique practice, working across the spectrum from clinical counselling, where support and emotional balance are the first priority, to high performance coaching, where challenge and accountability take the spotlight. My practice is a bit like Freud meets Michael Jordan at meditation/basketball boot camp - energy sustenance for the mind, body and soul!
