Provides education, training, certification and consulting services for physicians, dentists, podiatrists, nurses, and dental assistants who offer conscious or moderate sedation. The administration of conscious sedation requires careful titration, critical assessment, and the ability to rapidly intervene in the event of respiratory or physiologic compromise. Our mission is to transfer knowledge and expertise developed through years of anesthesia experience to the non-anesthesia provider, and to foster competence and confidence in all health-care providers who are involved in the administration of conscious sedation and analgesia services. Our goal is to assure patient safety. Approved by California & Kansas Dental Boards, Nevada & Indiana Board of Dental Examiners We are excited to report our Conscious Sedation Course is now approved by the California and Kansas Dental Boards, the Nevada and the Indiana Board of Dental Examiners for Continuing Education Credits / Units (CEU's). Health Care Facility Staff Credentialing Services & Propofol Training We are now providing staff credentialing & competency services to hospitals, ambulatory surgery facilities and endoscopy suites. This program is for facilities to provide privileging and credentialing of non-anesthesia physicians, nurses and respiratory therapists to assure competency in sedation administration services. We also offer an additional comprehensive course on the administration of propofol to providers who wish to add this to their sedative regimen - advanced airway management training and monitoring component included.
