Bio

Spitzmiller and Norris, Inc. is a residential design firm specializing in the custom design of personal residences. We have maintained our office in Atlanta since 1985 and are experienced in designing plans for the construction of new houses, the remodeling of existing houses and the proper restoration of historic houses in a green and eco-friendly manner. High-rise interior designs are a new request for us and we are adding this rewarding lifestyle environment to our repertoire. We work throughout the South on a diverse array of projects from our recently completed 15 year design collaboration with Blackberry Farm in Walland, Tennessee, to designing second homes in North Carolina's mountains and Florida's Gulf Coast. We are particularly proud of receiving two Excellence in Preservation Awards from the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation,The Institute of Classic Architecture & Classic America's 2009 Philip Trammell Shutze Award as well as accolades from Southern Living and Southern Accents.
