Founder of MaturityMatters.net and ChiForLiving.com Dedicated to helping seniors live joyful and independent lifestyles. Building resources and connections between the senior community and the professional who serve them. Overview: At age 55, I found that my 81 year old mother was beginning to rely on my brother and I to care for her. The problem was, neither of use knew what to do, who to ask for help or where to look for answers. At the same time, I developed my seniors movement program (http://www.chiforliving.com). Through teaching and talking with the seniors, I found that most of them rely on their children and that my family "care" situation was quite common. As a result, I founded MaturityMatters.net - a network of whole senior fitness and lifestyle providers, resources and information. One mission it to enable seniors and their family caregivers to ask intelligent questions and make educated choices on the issues that effect their lifestyles. A second is to provide access to community based resources that promote connections between the senior community and the professional who serve them. Specialties Creator and teacher of movement, balance, flexibility and range of motion programs for Independent and Assisted Living seniors. I am an intuitive and creative thinker. who enjoys working with CEO's in an advisory and visionary capacity.
