Stephen P Brown

Bio

A native of Rochester, England, Stephen spent part of his youth in New Jersey. Freelance performing has taken him to Cleveland, Hungary and Africa, among other exotic places. He returned to the Garden State a decade ago to care for a dying friend, ended up marrying a Jersey girl, and here he remains. Stephen began his musical odyssey on the piano and clarinet, switching to percussion at New York’s Mannes College of Music and England’s Trinity College of Music, where he majored in conducting. He is artistic director of the Jubilee Symphony Orchestra, a Christian musical fellowship, and for two decades has organized concerts by “Stephen P. Brown and Friends” that range from classical to pop, film music and show tunes
