I'm currently a reporter for the Ogden, Utah, Standard-Examiner. I've also worked for newspapers in Virginia, North Carolina, and Colorado. I've won more than a dozen journalism awards including the O.Henrey Award, the top featuring writing award in North Carolina from the Associated Press, and a Katie Award from the Dallas Press Club. I've covered devestating hurricanes and tornadoes, the Utah Legislature, three governors, exposed crooked politicans, written an investigative series about drug dealing cops, and have witnessed the execution of a death row inmate among other things. The great thing about journalism is that it's the first draft of history.
