Bio

Tim Bailey specializes in all aspects of networking and social networking for business development, channel development, and solution marketing. As a business development and marketing professional, Tim has over 20 years of experience with high-tech products and services in the U.S. and international markets with companies of all sizes. Tim has lead workshops for social networking with organizations that include the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, ASAP roundtable and others. As a management consultant, Tim's clients have included Open Market, CoCreate, SGI, Intel, Timbre, Semi-Conductor Tooling Service, Dassault Systemes, and Hewlett Packard. Before becoming a consultant, Tim served as the Director, Worldwide Business Development for Hewlett Packard's workstation group, Director, Worldwide Solution Marketing and Business Development for SGI, and Vice President, Mechanical Systems for Computervision. Early in his professional career, Tim founded Metagraphics, Inc. and raised over $10M to develop and market automated drawing conversion products worldwide. He led startup from concept through software product development, driving over $1.5M in the 1st year. Mr. Bailey holds a Masters of Business Administration from Northeastern University; a Masters of Science in Computer Science, from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; and a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
