URLwire is a discreet and highly regarded news service for announcing genuinely meritorious Web content to the right people. I started URLwire in 1994 as one of the methods used to help Jeff Bezos announce and attract attention and links for the debut of Amazon.com. That sounds glamorous, but it wasn't.
