Wink Lorch has worked in the world of wine communication for over 20 years, after extensive wine trade experience in the UK. She is a wine writer, wine editor and wine educator. She has travelled throughout the world of wine and in 2007 launched the Wine Travel Guides website. For travellers who want to plan their own private wine tour, Wine Travel Guides offers independent on-line travel guides to wine regions in France, Italy and Spain with PDF downloads available to purchase. There is also a tailor-made itinerary planning for all wine regions in France, as well as for Tuscany in Italy and Rioja in Spain. Wink has been a specialist in the wines of Savoie and Jura and is happy for writing commissions on these areas. She is an experienced speaker and in particular enjoys presenting educational and entertaining tastings on wines of South America, eastern France or simply her own choice of interesting wines. Wine can offer consultancy on social media for anyone connected with the wine trade in the UK and France. Wink lives part of the year in Chalet Balaena in a small village in the French Alps, near Annecy and just one hour from Geneva.
