The mission of "The Early Days of AA" is to preserve the history of Alcoholics Anonymous through the âEarly Daysâ recordings of Bill Wilson, Bob Smith and friends. The only remaining collection of actual reel-to-reel tapes was given to Mikee C, in Southern California, by his grand sponsor before he died, with the provision the recordings would be made available on a worldwide basis to the friends and family of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). These same tapes have been remastered, digitally enhanced for the best possible quality sound, and are now available in a CD collection exclusively on this site. You can also listen online to samples on this site. Hearing Bill & Lois Wilson, Dr. Bob Smith, Ebby Thacher, Bill Dotson and others relate the early history of Alcoholics Anonymous in their own words is truly a remarkable experience. The collection of ten 3 CD sets - or the entire 30 CD collection - are available for purchase now. A portion of the proceeds will be made available to AA Worldwide Services.
