Bio

Boris has more than 20 years of extensive business experience operating in markets throughout Europe (mainly in the Netherlands), Russia/CIS and Israel. He has been active as a Risk and Project Manager as well as a senior consultant. He advised corporate and financial institutions including banks, insurance companies, trusts and hedge funds in the areas of risk management, management organisation, corporate finance and IT-business alignment. His assignments range from regulatory requirements such as Basel II and Solvency II to strategic risk propositions such as defining and setting risk appetite and embedding risk management through the organisation. He implemented projects in the area of Payments, Cash management, treasury and asset management. As a Risk and Project manager he participated in implementation of operational risk strategy, tools and methodologies, worked closely with all stakeholders including Business Directors, Audit, Tax and Compliance. He was responsible for development of Risk policies and procedures, management reporting, dashboards, training, support, creating risk aware organization.
