The island of Antigua is a unique place to come and visit in the Caribbean mainly because of it's geography. The coast is covered by beautiful white sandy beaches coves inlets and it protected by reefs and off shore islands perfect for scuba diving and snorkeling. Of course the rich history of this twin island country is as unique with the pre colonial Arawak indians having lived on the island before the British. England and the United Kingdom ruled over Antigua and Barbuda until 1981 when we were granted independance. As a twitter travel writer and blogger i write about things that make Antigua special usually giving photos of the island and it's hidden secrets to encourage people to come on holiday to these islands. Deep sea fishing, windsurfing, kite surfing, surfing, paddle surfing, fly fishing, beach combing, archaiology, hiking, sailing, yachting, snorkeling, touring, eating, swimming and all other things revolving around the ocean are my interests. If you need more info about the islands of Antigua and Barbuda you can message me any time.
