The name âShawn Haiginsâ is a pseudonym. In fact, it is an anagram of the authorâs real name, "Ashwin Sanghi". Ashwin writes extensively on history, religion, and politics. "The Rozabal Line" is his first novel completed in 2007. The book was self-published in the US in 2007 under his pen name, "Shawn Haigins". The book went through several revisions over 2007 and 2008 and increased in length and scope and a new edition under Ashwin's own name was released by Tata-Westland Ltd. & Tranquebar Press for the Indian subcontinent in 2008. Ashwin is currently working on editing his second novel, as yet untitled, which should (he hopes) see the light of day by mid-2010. Ashwin is an entrepreneur and holds a masterâs degree from Yale and lives in India. Writing is his passion and, in his own words, he's "an entrepreneur by day and novelist by night". Why does he do it? Sanghi says that "Writing is my way of reclaiming my sanity in an otherwise insane world." ASHWIN ALWAYS FOLLOWS BACK. HE THINKS OF IT AS COMMON COURTESY.
