My work as a Midwife for many years led me to becoming a hypnotherapist , and now I have the tools to support woemn and their partners in pregnancy , to work out how it is they are going to have the birth they want for themselves and their baby . I have delivered 1000's of babies and supported 100's of waterbirths , so I know what is important and what works for labour and birth . I also support women after a birth which became traumatic and if they become stuck or develop negative feelings towards themselves , their partners of their babies , we can work together to manage that a whole lot better , so that the relationships can recover and move on . My focus is to support parents to be with the tools they need to be empowered and confident and to feel like , they did it themselves , and to be ecstatic and over the moon . My purpose is to remove fear and to instill confidence and trust in the labouring mother , and that she gets the right kind of support from those around her. As a hypnobirthing practitioner I can support the normal birthing process and as a hypnotherapist I can support more concerning worries and obstacles which may pop up .I have a busy private practice across the south west and have made some cd's to support pregnancy labour and birth and to ensure parents can manage their energy better with a newborn.
