We're Matthew and Lynda Phillips, the culinary duo and founders of Adaire Professional Chef Services. Established in 1999, we created Adaire to pursue our culinary passions in entertainment, special events, professional chef services, and dinner party catering. We believe the key to success is in nurturing our client relationships. While we enjoy catering any type of special event, we excel at intimate celebrations like a milestone birthday party, golden anniversary celebration, or college graduation. Home entertaining is a popular choice for clients who want all the class and style of an elegant event in the comfort of their own home. Whether you're throwing an anniversary celebration or intimate dinner party, our goal is to make the occasion memorable - and delicious! We are accomplished Chefs with a strong combination of culinary experience and management skills coupled with award-winning menu preparation background. We love to showcase our talents at corporate hospitality events, cocktail parties, family gatherings, business lunches, casual and formal dinner parties and any other unique culinary events you can think of! My wife and I have complimentary backgrounds. I have been a chef since 1994. I am a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Pennsylvania. Before starting Adaire, I worked as the Executive Chef at The Ritz-Carlton. In addition, I earned a B.A. in Chemistry from LaGrange College with an extensive background in nutrition and physiology. My wife Lynda has been a chef since 1999. She specializes in event planning and execution as well as dining management and business administration. She has an impressive skill set including expertise in the creative arts, especially design and food display. Lynda’s B.A. in Graphic Design contributes greatly to her artistic flair in both food and dining room presentation. Special events development, cost containment, customer service and quality assurance are are primary facets of our business.
