I blog at christcentred.org. My aim is to show the centrality of Jesus in both Christian living and thinking. There are posts for non-Christians and Christians, so have a look! Also I'm a primay school teacher in the UK, teaching Year 2. They're great fund and I really enjoy my job. I became a Christian when I was 17. I was brought up in a Christian home, but despite hearing the good news of Jesus I was a complete legalist - thinking I was saved by works and being proud of my own achievements. I looked at John 1 and learnt Jesus was "full of grace and truth". I was also hit by the phrase "he came to his own but his own did not recognise him". Suddenly I realised I was a sinner I had rejected God. I realised I need Jesus to be gracious to me. Through the cross Jesus covered my sin. His Holy Spirit remade my heart and I responded in faith to him. I've never looked back, despite all that has happened since then. Theology wise I could broadly be described as reformed. I'm also really keen that my theology is practical and makes a difference to my actual Christian life.
