Today's college search and application process is much more complicated and demanding than when we were in their shoes. The stakes are higher, the game much more competitive. Laura and her daughter toured 14 colleges and universities in search of the “best fit” opportunity. With success in hand, Laura is sharing the many lessons learned from the beginning thoughts of developing a college list, visiting colleges, thru applications, essays, and final selection. It is a compilation of the things every parent wishes they had known before embarking on the college search process. With expertise in project management and communications, Laura helps families navigate their own personal complications and stresses as it relates to the college search process. The ultimate goal is to find a college or university that is the best fit for the student, using a process in which the student is empowered to choose (within parameters) their educational future.
