Bio

I've been living in Michigan for 12 years now. I started working at WOODTV in 1998 as a General Assignment Reporter. In 2003 I was promoted to Weekend Morning Anchor and Weekend Managing Editor. 2006 I became the Weekday Morning Anchor. A year later I was given the additional responsibities of Executive Producer. My first task was a major overhaul and format change of the show. Since then ratings that had suffered rebounded and have exceeded their previous highs. I currently live in Grand Rapids Michigan with my wife Gina and our 2 year old daughter Gabriella. We have two Wire Haired Fox Terriers named Jack and Jill. I grew up in Coffeyville Kansas and graduated from Field Kindley Memorial High School in 1988. My undergrad degree is from Baker University in Baldwin City Kansas, where I was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. I recieved an M.S. in Journalism from the University of Kansas in 1997.
