I enjoy reading all sorts of books and our home really shows it. There are bookcases all around the house. I love listening to Christian music (mainly traditional, contemporary, hymns, scripture songs, and gospel). I have a strong interest in working with many disabilities. I have personal experience for over 30 years working with individuals on the Autism spectrum. I have worked with deaf ministry since 1990 and was part of an inter-denominational Christian Sign Language Witnessing Team (The Heard) for four years. I have served as the church treasurer for Southern Deaf Fellowship since its organization in 2006 and before that I served on the deaf council for several years. I graduated from Alabama A&M University in December 1998 with a masters in counseling psychology and my area of specialization is rehabilitation counseling. In April 1999 I became a Certified Vocational Evaluator. Since August 1, 1999 I have been performing vocational evaluations for the Georgia Department of Rehabilitation Services. In April 2001 I became a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. I completed my Ph.D. in career counseling through LaCrosse University in September 2004.
