Bio

I've been in the Police service for the past 26 years having joined Warwickshire Constabulary at the end of 1985. I transferred to Dorset Police in 2001.

All of my service has been spent in uniform on front line Policing. After a short time on uniform response at Poole I came to Christchurch in 2004. After more than six years as Safer Neighbourhood Officer for the Grange Ward I moved to Mudeford and West Highcliffe at the beginning of 2012.

I've built some strong community links and work closely with other service providers such as Christchurch Borough Council, Sovereign Housing Association and community groups like 'Frogs'

Mudeford and West Highcliffe is a safe place to live, work and visit. Together we're working hard to make it even safer.

With the continued help of the community we'll forge ahead in our quest to stamp out Anti Social Behaviour (ASB)- the biggest drain on Police and partner agency resources.

Working with me and part of the Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) is Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Sarah Burton.

Your SNT is committed to building on the excellent work carried out by Christchurch Borough Home Watch http://www.christchurchhomewatch.org who have been voted the best Watch Group in Dorset. We want the community of Mudeford and West Highcliffe to benefit from a strong 'Homewatch'. Their objectives for Christchurch are simple:

To promote the reduction and opportunities for crime and ASB, to encourage a caring community spirit and assist members in addressing specific problems in their area.

I'm also happy to be part of the community here in Christchurch. Married with two young boys I enjoy my time off with family days out to the nearby New Forest and engaging in my favourite sporting pastime of kitesurfing on our beautiful beaches.
