I'm just a laid-back Southern gal who has finally found her passion in life...helping both women and men build their businesses using internet marketing...without spending a fortune or having to turn into a tech head. I love to read and learn. That's probably why my friends and colleagues call me a "knowledge hound"...I read everything I can get my hands on plus I bring over two decades of professional experience and education in medicine, biology and psychology as well as business to my work. In addition to marketing and business books of course, I also love Southern fiction (books like Pat Conroy's The Water Is Wide), Southern humor (especially Bailey White and Roy Blount Jr.) and even Southern cookbooks (Damon Lee Fowler's New Southern Kitchen is one of my favorites.) As you can probably tell by now, I love Southern culture and cooking, especially Southern pit barbecue. One of my goals is to sample barbecue in every state in the Deep South! Anyhow, like many native born Southerners, I'm a people person. I get really excited when I see my clients and customers taking action and putting into place the internet marketing strategies they learn from me. And this really goes beyond the extra money they are bringing in (although my clients are doing the happy dance about that!)...for me the most satisfying thing is seeing the freedom that comes when you have an income that doesn't depend on working for someone else, so that you are truly in control of your life and your future. That's just how I see it. I truly believe a successful online business can transform your life...it has certainly transformed mine. Ellen
