Bio

Dr. Eric Fruits is a financial economist and statistician specializing in valuation, securities, real estate, competition, and war crimes. As a valuation expert, damages expert, finance expert, and statistics expert he has provided testimony in state, federal, and international courts. Current academic research focuses on the economics of greenhouse gas emissions and cap-and-trade, the economics of health care and health insurance reforms, and impacts of changes to income tax rates on state-level economic growth. He has written peer-reviewed articles on initial public offerings (IPOs), the municipal bond market, and the formation and operation of cartels. Dr. Fruits has been affiliated with Portland State University, Pacific Northwest College of Art, University of Southern California, Indiana University, and the Claremont Colleges.
