Sherry Kline

Sherry Kline, co-author of history/family genealogy book "Mayfield: Then & Now", a book about the small-town she grew up near, is a 4th Generation Kansan. One of Sherry's great-grandfather's homesteaded in South Central Kansas, raised four sons, and lived to the age of 97. He would be astounded to know how many hundreds of descendants he has, and that they are farmers, service men and women, housewives, electrical engineers, many, many are teachers, and that one former teacher is now an NASA astronaut. Sherry has written Wichita Eagle's "Active Life Magazine Column "The Family Tree," for 10 years, she is a family historian, scrapbooker, Digital Scrapbooker, Family Historian, Find-a-Grave Volunteer, and Photography Buff. Her many greats grandfather, George Stocking, was a Hartford, CT founder, and her great-grandfather on her mother's side was a Civil War veteran. Sherry is currently trying to locate the "home" of some orphaned photographs left at a garage sale, learn the history of a house to help someone trying to find the identity of their 'house ghost', and working on another book.
